Who we are

At Prairie Grit Therapy, our mission is to make children’s therapeutic treatment fun through an environment rich with movement, sensory input, and learning experiences. We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy services designed to help children reach their full potential. Using a play-based approach, we create individualized therapy plans, incorporating peer-setting sessions and access to the YMCA’s full facilities, allowing us to tailor each session to the exact needs of your child.

Our therapists are trained in specialties such as astronaut training, AACs, feeding, dyslexia, gestalt processing, picky eating, and more. We’re committed to providing flexible scheduling and space that fits the needs of families first, while accepting all major insurances, including Tricare. We also collaborate with our adaptive sports program to offer free or low-cost opportunities for development outside of regular sessions.

We work with children from 0-18, creating a welcoming space for all ages. Our access to the YMCA facilities enables us to provide teens with therapy in an integrated setting, alongside able-bodied peers, promoting inclusivity and growth at every stage.
