SCHOOL-AGED ARTICULATION THERAPY GROUP

June 6 - August 15

This Speech and Language Therapy Group is designed for school-aged children to gain skills necessary to improve their ability to correctly produce speech sounds across different environments with a variety of communication partners. The group will provide opportunities for children to enjoy play activities and learn in a peer setting with a focus on building the skills to help them with speech sounds, the ability to self-correct, and communicate with friends, family, and classmates.

What to expect

During each session at Prairie Grit Therapy, every child will receive skilled speech-language therapy services addressing individual strengths and weaknesses. Two speech-language pathologists will direct each session containing a maximum of five participating children. This group offers an exciting curriculum where children will work on their speech sounds while engaging with their peers through various activities including crafts, gym time, playground activities, and free play. The sessions will be at our clinic located in the Minot Family YMCA.
