Executive functioning therapy group
Ages 8 to 14
This group helps children develop the skills needed for greater independence in daily tasks. Executive functioning is essential for managing daily responsibilities, planning, and staying organized. Through structured activities, hands-on learning, and peer collaboration, participants will gain practical tools to improve their ability to manage routines, complete tasks, and follow multi-step directions. The focus will be on strengthening cognitive flexibility, problem-solving, and self-monitoring skills to help children feel more confident and capable in their daily lives.
This group session will happen each winter season.
A group therapy setting provides children with the opportunity to generalize skills learned in individual therapy and practice skills in a social setting. This new and exciting option for therapy services is motivating for both children and parents.
