LITTLE GRITTERS PRESCHOOL
This developmental preschool group provides opportunities for children to enjoy play in a peer setting within a sensory-rich environment. The goals of this program focus on social, fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptual, coordination, developing speech and language skills, and gross motor skills.
Children ages 3 to 5 with occupational, physical, and/or speech therapy needs are eligible to participate.

Is your child a good fit?

• Can engage in therapy activities safely and effectively without constant one-on-one supervision.
• Does not have behavioral challenges that disrupt the group or pose safety concerns for others.

• Regular attendance is expected; poor attendance in prior therapy or planned absences of more than 25% may affect eligibility.

Must qualify for skilled therapy services (PT, OT, and/or SLP) aligned with the group’s focus.
• Has therapy goals that match the group’s overall objectives.
• Current skill level is similar to that of other group participants.
• Has progressed in individual therapy and now benefits from peer interaction to further develop skills.

• If your child qualifies for school-based services, those should be the primary option, with individual therapy supplementing as needed.
• If your child is non-speaking and not yet able to communicate effectively via an AAC device, individual therapy may be a better first step before preschool.

What to expect
During each session, each child receives skills therapy services addressing their individual goal areas. This program offers an exciting and engaging curriculum where children will engage with their peers through various activities including crafts, games, gym time, and circle time. Each child’s individual insurance will be billed for the therapy services the child receives during the session. Contact us to discuss private pay options. There will be a $50 out-of-pocket fee for programming and supplies.
