Self-REGULATION THERAPY GROUP
Ages 6 - 12
This group helps children improve their emotional self-understanding, self-awareness, and self-regulation. Children who struggle with emotional regulation may experience difficulty managing frustration, transitioning between activities, or expressing their feelings constructively. Through interactive games, role-playing, and sensory-based activities, this group provides a safe space for children to explore emotions, build coping strategies, and learn how to regulate their responses in different environments. The goal is to empower children with the tools to navigate social and emotional challenges more effectively.
A group therapy setting provides children with the opportunity to generalize skills learned in individual therapy and practice skills in a social setting.
